Why can’t there be any honest, hardworking folk, managing motels and gas stations in the middle of nowhere?

I learn a lot from watching movies, and I find this a particularly valuable lesson:

If you’re ever on a long road trip, with a few friends, never, under any circumstance, get off the interstate!! Should you decide to take a “shortcut” down a long, windy road, it will end up being one of the last things you ever do.
